At Rhythm & Motion, we believe in fostering a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for all dancers. The Dancer’s Bill of Rights reflects our commitment to honoring and respecting every individual who steps into our studios or participates in our programs.
1. Right to Expression
Every dancer has the right to express themselves freely through movement, embracing their unique style and individuality.
2. Right to Inclusivity
Every dancer, regardless of age, ability, race, gender, or background, has the right to feel welcome, valued, and celebrated in our community.
3. Right to Safety
Every dancer has the right to learn and grow in a physically and emotionally safe space, free from judgment, harassment, or harm.
4. Right to Respect
Every dancer has the right to be treated with dignity, respect, and understanding by instructors, staff, and peers.
5. Right to Growth
Every dancer has the right to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace, supported by professional instruction and encouragement.
6. Right to Joy
Every dancer has the right to experience the joy of movement, connection, and creative exploration in a positive and uplifting atmosphere.
7. Right to Feedback
Every dancer has the right to receive constructive, supportive feedback that fosters growth and confidence without pressure or negativity.
8. Right to Accessibility
Every dancer has the right to access classes and resources that meet their financial, physical, and creative needs through equitable practices and programs.
9. Right to Collaboration
Every dancer has the right to contribute to and feel part of a larger artistic community where their ideas and efforts are recognized and appreciated.
10. Right to Celebration
Every dancer has the right to celebrate their achievements, no matter how big or small, in a space that uplifts and inspires.
